You can buy a boat or you can build a boat. Some of us are born with a desire to use or hands. We will make things that are almost as good as things we can buy, and we can make them for only a little more than we could buy one for. For me, the trip was part of the fun. So I chose to build. And not only that– I could build a little at a time. If I lost interest I could resell my makings on eBay. To purchase is a big committment lacking some pretty good evidence of being able to make it pay off in cash, not just pleasure. The Internet has changed the world especially for people like me. I don’t think I would have a CNC machine today if it weren’t for the Internet. A window to the world: you can learn about anything. There’s tons of resources out there for anything you want to do. I milked it to death and I’ll be glad to share what I learned with anyone.
